The camera is located either in the Telecom Room or the Hatherton Laboratory. As summer with twenty-four hour daylight approaches, the camera will photograph the views outside the base.

The camera is currently setup to update hourly during daylight hours and is usually looking to starboard from the Radio Officers cabin on the Navigation Bridge Deck (although it may face aft if something interesting is going on!).
